Spencer Stanger, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
Spencer has worked in health care for the past 13 years, first as an RN and the past 6 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner in eastern Idaho. While working in primary care, Spencer found joy in helping those struggling with mental health issues, and also noted the need for more specialized psychiatric providers in our area. Wanting to make a difference and having found a passion for helping others improve their mental health, he returned to school and obtained a post graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri. His years of primary care experience and being dual certified as a Family NP and Psychiatric NP gives Spencer great insight into evaluating and assessing the whole person and recognizing the connections between medical and mental health.
Spencer was born and raised in rural Idaho and enjoys spending time with his family and all things outdoors.
